I can say I'm glad that I've finished this one, even I'm not that happy with the result. I haven't had the time to use the technique I actually planned for doing the hair, and a hospital stay cropped up. So, lot of working time was lost. I was pleased with the first WIP, but the hair looks way too unrealistic.
Thanks to *ihearthurrt for giving permission to draw this photo, originally titled "there goes"

ART FOR ARTS SAKE contest entry [link] _____________________________________________
Update: I didn't win this contest, but I want to post the "Highly commended" here (=
`oilsoaked said: "Hard work and perseverance pay off in this fantastically realistic portrait! The subtle skin tones! The bright shining eyes! Bereaved certainly does her reference an honor, and despite what she says about the hair, I think it looks amazing. The reflections! The lighting! Need I say more?"
I opened this up and thought "It's a photo, without a doubt." Saw Traditional Art - Drawings and thought "Bullshit!" I can't believe that there are people in this world that can draw that well... maybe I'll become one someday
This is absolutely brilliant! When I first saw this, I thought it was a photo, but you blew me away when I realised this was done traditonally. This is so amazing!!
